CHOPTA - AULI TOUR
Chopta - also know as mini switzerland of Garhwal region,  very famous among youngster  because it give thrill of adventure plus pilgrim.  One of the highest temple of Shiva is located here named- Tungnath temple. Chopta is also famous  for it Sunrise and Sunset, which attracts  many professionals to capture that moment. If time permits you must visit Deoria tal also - a small  lake above Sari village.  In clear weather, nice  reflection of Chaukhamba peak can be seen on surface of water. With this tour another famous hill station is Auli - Winter destination and  known for its world class snow skiing slope. In winter you can enjoy many snow activities and can hike to Gorson meadow, from here you will have nice 180 degree view of some famous peaks like Mt Kamet, Nanda Devi peak, Dronagiri peak anf Hathi ghodi peak.

Day 01:  Delhi – Rishikesh ( 256km/ 7hrs)

Early morning drive to Rishikesh. It will take around 6 to 7hrs depend on traffic condition and also because of Kumbh festival in Haridwar. Evening free leisure,explore market and visit Triveni ghat for Ganges aarti.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Rishikesh – Chopta (165km/ 6hrs)


Today morning after breakfast start your journey in foot hills of Himalaya. On the way you will pass through Devprayag (Confluence of river Alaknanda and Bhagirathi) Srinagar and Rudraprayag(Confluence of river Alaknanda and Mandakini). Evening you will reach to your camp in Chopta,evening free.
Overnight stay in Camp.

Day 03: Chopta – Tungnath(3km trek) - Joshimath (135Km 5hrs)

Early morning have your breakfast, check out from your camp and start trek to Tungnath. The highest temple of Shiva. Later proceed your journey to Joshimath.
Overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 04: Joshimath – Auli  – Rudraprayag (127km/4.5hrs)

The town of Joshimath is also nicknamed as Jyotirmath and is the winter seat of Lord Badri, whose idol is brought down from Badrinath temple to Vasudeva temple at Joshimath. This holy town is revered by the Hindus for being an important pilgrimage center of the country.you can visit  Narsingh temple, Shankaracharya cave, Kalpvriksha and many other templeLater drive to Auli to enjoy in snow . Auli is one of the famous winter tourist destination.  People from all over the place come here to see snow and  180 degree view of Himalaya.

(Note: if You have time you can extend your itinerary to enjoy this place.)


Otherwise in the morning after breakfast we will visit Auli and later proceed to Rudraprayag  or Srinagar (as per time ) Overniht stay in hotel.

Day 05: Rudraprayag –  Rishikesh (141km 5Hrs)

Today morning drive to Rishikesh .
